How long does the whole process take?

The most straightforward issues can be fixed within 1-2 days. Getting the PageSpeed all the way to 90 takes longer, usually additional 2-7 days.

How much is the deposit?

There is an upfront deposit of $200 that needs to be paid using Stripe before we start the process. Remember, if we can't improve the score you get your money back.

What if the recommended score of 90 was not reached?

Sometimes it's not possible or feasible to get the PageSpeed all the way to 90. As always, there is no risk for you because you only pay for the actual scores that got improved.

Does the tech stack impact the total cost?

No, whether you are running on Wordpress or Shopify the price is the same. For some technologies, it is harder to improve the PageSpeed scores especially around 80-100.

I have multiple pages that need to be improved. How does that work?

If you have multiple pages that are part of the same website, fixing one will usually improve all others as well.

Starting with one page to tackle the low-hanging fruits and the root issues is a good idea.

Can I cancel the order?

Yes, you can cancel the order up until the kick-off to get a 100% refund.

Remember, even after we started fixing your PageSpeed, you only pay for the PageSpeed score difference that we improved.

Simply tell us to slow down or stop the work if you want to keep the costs low.

Can you give me a small PageSpeed bump?

If you don't want us to aim for a score of 90, you can let us know during the kick-off meeting.

What if I am not happy with your service?

The service we deliver is quantified. You pay based on the amount your PageSpeed score improved after we are done.

However, in case you are not happy with the process, please let us know as soon as possible. We would love to know how to improve.

How is the PageSpeed difference measured?

We use Google's official PageSpeed tool to measure the page's performance both before the kick-off meeting and after we make improvements.

Behind the scenes, Performance90 is using the same tools as Google to measure the performance.

It creates a conflict of interest to rely on our tools, since we charge based on how much the score improved after the boost. That is why we use the official PageSpeed tool.

Can you work with my developers?

Sure!

Do you need access to my system?

Yes, improving page performance requires giving access to a number of systems. The exact level of access depends on the technology used. Generally, you should give us as little access as needed to fix the performance issues.

If you have developers, we can work with them directly to minimize the level of access required.
